We Travel Not To Escape Life But So Life Does Not Escape Us
Welcome to Our Story:
A Little About Greg:
Greg was born and breed in Newcastle, NSW and spent most of his life there. He has also lifed in Orange NSW but has recently set down roots in Queensland.
Prior to Meeting Alison Greg had travel Most of Australia, USA, Canda, Mexico, Most of the Pacific Islands, Phillipines, Hong Kong, China, France & Spain.
A Little About Alison:
Alison was born in Fiji and spent her early childhood there before the family moved to the UK were they lived for 12 months. The family moved back to Australia where Alison completed her Schooling.
Alison has alway had a love for travel and prior to meeting Greg had previously traveled to the USA, Canada, Thialand, UK, France & Holland.
Our first adventure together was a two week trip to Tasmania over the Christmas New Year period. It was also our first Christmas together. You can read more about our Tamanian adventure here……
Our next adventure was to be one that would test any long relationship, yet alone a new one. We had planned to head to the USA, get an RV and travel around the states for at least a year, turned out 17 months. With our plans in place an oportunity came up to spend three months in the Cook Islands so just before our American adventure we headed to Rarotonga for three months. After our three months in the Cook Islands it was back to Australia for two weeks before heading to the USA. Just enough time for a last good bye. Check out our USA and Canada adventures here…….
After returning from the USA we moved to Newcastle. During that time we did smaller local trips, explored the local region and took a two week trip to China.
2019 was a big year for us, in May we traveled to Hawaii and got married. Then in September of that year we headed to Europe with a Stop over in Singapore. Munich for Octoberfest was our next stop then to Spain where we lived for the next 3 months. We then went off to Split in Croatia over Xmas and New Year spending the next 3 months there. March came and so did covid. We decided to head home, and as it turned out was a good decision. We left Split when to Slovenia, Hungary and then a stop of in Dubai returning to Australia 2 weeks before manetory quarintine commence.
